Description
Crispy, nutty almond flour crackers that are gluten-free, grain-free, and incredibly easy to make at home. Perfect for snack time, lunchboxes, or pairing with your favorite cheese and dips!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups finely ground almond flour (not almond meal)
- 1 large egg (or 1 tbsp flaxseed meal + 2.5 tbsp water, for vegan)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Optional: 1/2 tsp dried rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, or everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, salt, and any optional seasonings.
- Add egg (or flax egg) and oil. Stir until a soft dough forms.
- Place dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll out thinly (about 1/8-inch thick).
- Remove top parchment, cut dough into squares or shapes with a pizza cutter or knife.
- Sprinkle with extra salt or seasoning if desired.
- Transfer parchment with cut dough to baking sheet. Bake 12–16 minutes, rotating pan halfway, until edges are golden and centers are firm.
- Cool completely on the pan for maximum crispness—they’ll firm up as they cool.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
Notes
For extra crispy crackers, let them cool completely and, if needed, return to a low oven (250°F) for a few minutes to re-crisp. Roll dough as evenly and thin as possible for the best snap. Try flavor add-ins like herbs, garlic powder, or everything bagel seasoning to make them your own.
