Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin or chuck steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 whole head of garlic, smashed
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • Salt and cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: olive oil for searing

Instructions

  1. Cut steak into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Optional: Sear steak cubes in a hot skillet with olive oil until browned for extra flavor.
  3. Place steak in slow cooker.
  4. Add smashed garlic cloves, 3 tablespoons butter, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, beef broth, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours.
  6. Stir once or twice during cooking if possible.
  7. Right before serving, stir in remaining tablespoon of butter.
  8. Serve with creamy mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.

Notes
