Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb smoked kielbasa
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice kielbasa into 1-inch pieces. Make thin cuts across the top of each piece without slicing all the way through to create a Hasselback effect.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, paprika, and garlic powder.
  4. Brush half of the glaze over the sliced kielbasa pieces and arrange them on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, then brush with the remaining glaze and bake another 10 minutes until caramelized and glossy.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm with toothpicks or skewers.

Notes

Use thick, high-quality kielbasa for best texture and flavor. The Hasselback slices allow glaze to soak in and caramelize perfectly. For a spicy twist, add red pepper flakes or hot sauce. Make ahead and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking. Serve with ranch or mustard aioli for dipping. Great for game nights, parties, or casual family dinners!
